I first started showing Akitas in 1991 for the legendary OBJ Akita – Mr. & Mrs. Bill Andrews. I have also exhibited dogs semi professionally for others ranging from Chihuahuas to Rottweilers, along with handling the very first Champion for my dear friend Cindy Smith’s now acclaimed CAS Akitas.

Taught from the very start what a great Akita is supposed to be, I am most proud that through my many years in the sport of showing dogs, I have been most fortunate to see up close and personal– ALL of the greats this breed has seen in the past 25 years. I have also had the pleasure of judging Sweepstakes all across the country.

At London Akitas we strive to produce the very BEST American Akitas; combining top quality Working Dogs with healthy successful bloodlines.  As a business, we publish The Working and Herding Dog Digest– The only magazine in the country dedicated solely to the Working and Herding breeds.

Other accomplishments include co-hosting The Eukanuba National Championship Dog Show Series on the U.S. Cable Network – Animal Planet.
